Nec/Mo - Mo/Nec Build
Does anyone have a good build of a Monk and a Necro that they tested thoroughly? I played one of a multitude of variations this weekend, PVP only, and I found it to be pretty effective.
I dont have the exact numbers but the concept behind this build was a toon that focused on health degen on the enemy while maximizing your own health regen. I achieved this using a combination of the monk enchantment that gives +3 HP regen as well as healing breeze when I was under heavy attack. Also using the necro spells life siphon and health transfer my HP regen was +6 most of the time. I coupled this with demonic flesh to increase my HP max to around 700 with the equipment from the premade selection. I also took plague signet as my elite skill to handle the conditions that would ammass on me during fights. Faint heartedness was another good choice as it reduced the attack rate of the enemy while giving them -2 health degen that stackes with the life siphon. Other skills I took were direct damage skills such as vampiric gaze and signet of agnony (sac. % life and steal life). I found that I was able to sustain massive damage while being able to toss healing breeze on teammates when needed. If the party had a dedicated healer in it I could pretty much take damage all day and regen through it with several opponents on me. The problem areas I saw were spells that take your energy away seriously crippled this build as well as spells that prevented you from casting without a penalty like the mesmer's backfire. Overall I would recommend the build. - Iczer |
